Sòlfari is an Icelandic horse stable in the town of Raasepori, about 8km from the centre of Karjaa.
We offer a beautiful and peaceful terrain for riding.
We arrange mainly cross-country rides that could range from 1h to several days.

ABOUT ME

My first contact with the Icelandic horse was on a geography lesson back in the 70's, when the subject was about Iceland and I saw a picture of three different colored Icelandic horses. That was the moment I decided that someday I was going to own one of these lovely horses...

SERVICES

We mainly arrange trail rides, that can range from 1 hour to long rides up to 3 days. All excursions are planned according to the customer's wishes. The stable has a liability insurance but all riders must have an active accident insurance.

LESSONS AND TRIPS 1h terrain 40 € 2h terrain 65 € 5 x 2h card / 300 € is valid for 2 months from the date of purchase 10 x 1h card / 350 € is valid for 3 months from the date of purchase Half-day trip / 3-4h, 130 € Full-day trip / approx. 8h, incl. light lunch and coffee 220 € 2-days trip, 500 € 3-day trip, 650-700 € PAYMENT METHODS Cash, Mobilepay and bank transfer. Smartum, Edenred and ePassi are also used as payment methods for all other except 5 x 2h and 10 x 1h cards.

The stable is located in the town of Raasepori, 8 km from the center of Karjaa. Arriving by car is the easiest way. The center of Karjaa can be easily reached by bus and train as well. It is possible to organize a ride from the center. The stable can be reached by bike or even on foot!
Please notice that the car's own navigator may direct you to a road that is not in use. Google Maps guides you better.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What do I need to bring?

Comfortable clothes according to the weather. Long pants and good supporting shoes even in the summer. You can borrow helmets.

How can I pay?

You can pay by cash and Mobilepay at the stable. A bank transfer must be done beforehand. Even Smartum, Edenred and ePassi are used as payment methods for all other except 5 x 2h and 10 x 1h cards.

Is it possible to arrange excursion for your own group?

Yes. However a certain amount of participants is required.
